Last updated on January 29, 2026 IST

Your privacy is important to us. This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use Sika’s website, apps, and services (the “Services”).

1. Introduction

Sika (“Sika”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides AI-powered tools to help with interviews— including real-time assistance, transcripts, and analysis. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

A) Personal Information

  • Contact: name, email, optional phone.
  • Account: login identifier, preferences, plan tier.
  • Billing: payment method token, transaction metadata (processed by our payment processor; we don’t store full card details).
  • Professional (optional): resume/profile details you choose to provide for practice or analysis.
  • Support: messages and attachments you send to us.

B) Usage & Device Information

  • Log data: IP address, timestamps, pages/features used, referrer.
  • Device data: device type, OS, browser.
  • Telemetry: performance events, crash reports, basic diagnostics.
  • Cookies & similar tech: to remember settings, keep you signed in, and measure usage.

C) Audio/Content You Provide

If you use real-time assistance, transcripts, or practice tools, the spoken or typed content you choose to share may be processed to deliver prompts, summaries, and feedback. You control what you input and can delete it later (subject to Section 9: Retention).

3. How We Collect Information

  • Directly from you: when you create an account, upload data, or contact support.
  • Automatically: via cookies, SDKs, and logs when you use the Services.
  • From service providers: payment processors, analytics, error-tracking tools.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Services: sign-in, real-time prompts, transcripts, analysis, billing.
  • Improve & develop: quality, reliability, and new features (including model improvements).
  • Communicate: account notices, service updates, support replies. Marketing only with your consent where required.
  • Security & compliance: fraud prevention, abuse detection, enforcing our Terms, and meeting legal obligations.

We do not use your personal data for purposes incompatible with this Policy without asking for consent where required.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:

  • Service providers: payment processing (e.g., Razorpay), cloud hosting, analytics, email and support tools—under contracts that limit their use to providing services for us.
  • Legal & safety: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or integrity of the Services.
  • Business transfers: in a merger/acquisition; we’ll notify you of material changes.
  • With your consent: when you ask us to share or integrate with third-party tools.

6. Data Security

  • Encryption in transit and at rest where applicable.
  • Access controls and least-privilege practices.
  • Monitoring, logging, and periodic reviews.
  • Incident response procedures; we’ll notify you as required by law.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Help protect your account by using a strong, unique password and keeping it confidential.

7. Your Choices & Rights

  • Access/Update: edit profile details from your account; contact us for additional requests.
  • Delete: request deletion of your account/data (we may retain limited records as required by law or for legitimate business needs).
  • Marketing: opt out via unsubscribe links; we’ll still send transactional emails.
  • Cookies: manage via your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect functionality.
  • Do Not Track: we currently do not respond to DNT signals.

If you are in a region with specific privacy rights (e.g., EEA), you may have additional rights such as data portability or objection to processing, subject to applicable laws.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in a reasonable timeframe.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

The Services may link to third-party sites or integrations. Their privacy practices are governed by their policies, not this one. Review those policies before using third-party services.

11. International Data Transfers

We are based in India. By using the Services, you understand your data may be processed in India (and in other countries where our service providers operate). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted with the updated date above. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice when appropriate.
